	<title>The Alien</title>

	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/251866/251866_1202243902_small.jpg"><br><br>I used MudBox for the Modelling part. I used Photoshop to paint the textures needed (Color, specular and Bump Maps) and finally i imported the HiRes Model to 3d studio Max 8 and rendered it with Vray. the modeling part was completly straight forward since i didn't had something specific in my mind... I just took my poor mouse and started the sculpting using very simple technics (since i don't know any advance :-P). For the texturing i painted the color map first and naturally the specular came from the bump map, also i created a mask to specify the location that the reflections will take part. After that i used the basic three-point lighting to light up my scene, I placed a Vray Plane to serve as ground and finally a few basic settings...and here is the Preview you see from this lovely character... :-P hope you like it]]>

	<title>The Pool of Dreams</title>

I Used a box to &quot;model' the walls and a plane for the water,a combination of noise and wave maps mixed together by max 's mix map were used to create the wave effect. a direct light coming from the window and one a omni light inside lighted the darkness, I enabled global illumination and final gathering with minimum quality settings and pressed the render button. the render lasted for 4 long minutes that revealed the image you see in your screen.]]>
